The successful candidate should be based within an hours commute of our head office in Widnes as you will be required to attend the office at least 2 days a week. What is The Deal for you? The role is fundamental in ensuring mobile devices are correctly configured for use in frontline care operations, and are managed appropriately to ensure we deliver best value and best experience through our fleet of IT assets. Day-to-day (list not exhaustive see attached JD) To work closely with IT team members and other departments to support mobile device needs and ensure seamless integration with existing IT systems. Ensure mobile devices are secured with appropriate security measures, including encryption, antivirus, and regular updates. Maintain an accurate inventory of all mobile devices Manage the logistics of device procurement to end user delivery Ensure devices are returned, cleansed, and redeployed when sites close or users leave Troubleshoot mobile device management issues and incidents and provide customer support to end users. Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications, experience and knowledge: Relevant IT qualification either academic or technical Mobile Device Management qualification or equivalent experience Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices Experience in asset management and maintaining accurate inventory records Experience using the Samsung Knox platform is desirable but not essential Competencies, Skills And Abilities Good knowledge of MDM tools and their correct usage Excellent technical troubleshooting skills Understanding of mobile device security and compliance Knowledge of service improvement/transformation and project management Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role Please note, if you are interested in this role, we welcome your application as soon as possible Depending on the volume of applications received, the vacancy may be closed before the expected advertising end date.
