As a Health Promotion Specialist, you will be the face of Workplace Wellbeing to the client and their employees. Your ability to motivate and engage members in their journey toward better health is key. You will help build and enhance their well-being culture, deliver engaging health promotion activities, and increase employee health ownership. Working Schedule:
This is a full-time position with standard working hours of Monday to Friday. You must be able to commute to our client site in Bracknell. There may be travel to Bulgaria once or twice a year. Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements, including splitting work hours between our Client site in Bracknell and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.
Primary Responsibilities of the Health & Wellbeing Specialist:
* Assess population health needs using audit tools, feedback from employees and the client to develop and deploy appropriate well-being solutions and programming.
* Coordinate, develop, and deliver health interventions to educate members on well-being, including an annual calendar of health improvement activities.
* Partner with the client, vendors, and community resources to execute a workplace well-being strategy that improves employee health and resiliency.
* Ensure familiarity with integrated products, programs, and services to connect employees to their next best action.
* Build, lead, and expand the client's national network of Wellness Champions to localize and expand programming.
* Coordinate health and wellbeing marketing and communications to promote healthy behaviors and healthcare engagement.
* Report on engagement, referrals, initiatives, and results to demonstrate improvements in metrics.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, health education, public health)
* Proven experience in health promotion, health management, HR, or related fields
* Excellent multi-tasking, time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Strong technical and regulatory knowledge
* Effective public speaking skills and professional communication with clients and participants
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Experience with health plans
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a health-related field
* Related Health Promotion certification
* Industry experience
