About the Role
A leading deep-tech company is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer (Electronics) to drive the development of next-gen sensing and imaging technologies. This is a hands-on role, designing and optimizing cutting-edge hardware solutions for medical, and real-time applications
You’ll be part of a high-performance R&D team, working within an agile SCRUM environment, developing AI-driven, FPGA-accelerated, and sensing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead electronic hardware design – from concept through to production, including schematic capture and PCB layout
✅ Develop high-performance embedded systems, integrating microprocessors, microcontrollers, and high-speed communication interfaces
✅ Optimize FPGA and AI-driven GPU architectures for real-time signal processing
✅ Engineer low-power, high-efficiency power supply systems for mobile and industrial applications
✅ Design for EMC compliance, ensuring manufacturing and test readiness (DFM & DFT best practices)
✅ Take a hands-on approach to hardware prototyping, debugging, and verification, performing risk assessments (DFMEA)
✅ Work closely with firmware and software engineers to define test requirements and system-level integration
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders and customers, refining product specifications and engaging in pilot testing
✅ Push the boundaries of electromagnetic tomography and super-sensing technologies, enhancing sensor performance and AI-driven analytics
✅ Contribute to agile R&D innovation, working within a SCRUM framework, with the potential to grow into a SCRUM Master role
Essential Skills & Experience
Extensive hands-on experience in electronics design, from PCB layout to full product development
Strong understanding of microprocessor and microcontroller-based systems, including communication interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Profibus)
Expertise in high-speed digital design, integrating memory subsystems (DDR, NAND, eMMC)
Proven track record of FPGA development and AI-enabled GPUs for real-time applications
Deep knowledge of EMC principles, compliance testing, and regulatory standards
Experience in power supply design for low-power, mobile, and high-performance environments
Familiarity with hardware risk assessment and mitigation techniques (DFMEA)
Comfortable working in a SCRUM-driven R&D environment, collaborating across disciplines
