Operations manager salary will be DOE. Duties for the Operations Manager include:- • Safety, quality management and responsible for the delivery within the Production Departments. • Manage the Production Team to deliver its outputs. • Manages compliance of all supervised areas. • Input to preparation of budgets and forecasting. • Capex reporting. • Works to maximise production capacity by establishing, adjusting and monitoring production schedules consistent with master schedules. • Responsible for scheduling the production of new manufactured and after-market products for delivery to customers. • Thorough understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in the operational area. • Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions. • Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting and staffing. • Introduction and maintenance of operational systems to achieve process improvements. The operations manager will also need (in addition to the management and manufacturing experience:- • Technical leadership and motivational skills. • Sound manufacturing knowledge. • Attention to detail and effective checking regime. • Good verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work in a team environment and problem solve. • Flexibility, adaptability and professionalism, with the ability to work cooperatively as part of a multi discipline team, or on individual projects.
