As an Office Manager you will provide administrative support to the factory to help the site to run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play an important role at the site, where you will often be the first point of contact for any internal and external queries. Youll have a range of varied duties which all add value to helping the factory run smoothly. You will also have line management responsibility for a Site Administrator based at site. Safety is our biggest priority, and you will play an important part making sure that all visitors have observed the site health and safety procedures. You will also support with inducting new starters and ensuring that their training records are completed. Duties also include: Payroll for weekly paid employees. Management of delivering and despatching of products Taking minutes in production meetings Preparing reports Identifying areas for improvement Providing administration support to the management team Acting as the first point of contact for the site (e.g. greeting visitors, managing mail, and answering/directing calls) Monitoring the site diary, booking rooms, and organising events) Supervision of 2 part time employees (wages and despatch) Close liaison with loading operatives and stock management Purchasing for specific indirect categories About You You will have previous experience working in an office environment where you have had exposure to payroll/wages and health and safety procedures. You will have great organisational skills and experience managing diaries and planning activities in the workplace. There can sometimes be busy periods or unexpected urgent tasks to be done, so youll have a flexible style, comfortable adapting the plan to achieve results with the resources available to you. You will have great attention to details, and you will enjoy working to high standards and identifying areas of improvement. You will enjoy supervising others, coordinating team workloads, and coaching others to help them develop their skills.
