Description | Salary £25,979 - £29,777, Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Pro Rata Pay Award Pending International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship Lancashire Highways Service is responsible for the direct delivery of all highways related schemes across the County made up of 4'300 miles of road, 151'000 streetlights and 2'955 bridges. We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Support Officer, this post will be based in our Cuerden Depot, Preston within the Countywide Projects Team. The post holder will be required to manage highway enquiries from members of the public and elected members providing technical responses as required demonstrating exceptional customer focus skills, provide technical and administrative assistance to the Countywide Projects management team by being familiar with standard office and mapping software, assist with day to day duties in the office, order and quality check of works, regularly updating live inventories, assist technicians and engineers with other duties which are deemed appropriate to the post.
