I am working with a facilities management company who are looking to add a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to their team. The company specialise in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings. This role is a field based position and will be covering the West Midlands area.
About the role of Air Conditioning Engineer:
My client work mainly on commercial buildings such as high street retailers and banks. You will be tasked with attending around 4 sites a day to carry out repairs or maintenance within the buildings which will include PPM and reactive work.
Responsibilities for Air Conditioning Engineer:
Undertake maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment.
Service, maintenance and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
Work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets/ multi deck or ice machines
Work across a variety of manufacture plants
Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures
Expected to complete any required work-related documentation accurately and on time
Keep an accurate log of inspection reports and remedial work
Use a hand held device effectivelyRequirements of a Electrical Engineer:
Full driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
Good written and verbal communication
Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Able to work without supervision
NVQ Level 2 (ideally 3) or equivalent
Knowledge of health and safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working
What we offer for a Gas Engineer:
Salary between £28,548 and £40,107 depending on experience
