We are Community Integrated Care a national Health and Social Care Organisation supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health issues and we are looking to recruit an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager on a full time permanent basis based anywhere in the UK.
The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the UK but must be available for occasional travel nationally.

As Regulatory Compliance Manager you will support the organisation Nominated Individual (CQC in England) and Responsible Person (Care Inspectorate in Scotland) to facilitate the oversight, monitoring and reporting of regulatory and compliance information. The Regulatory Compliance Manager will work within a Quality Assurance framework for compliance and continuous service improvement and offer reactive support including undertaking independent assessments and formulation of responses of key areas of quality when required. They will provide advice and guidance to operational and corporate staff to ensure processes for reporting to regulators are maintained.
This post is essentially a desk based functional role that will manage our entire registration and reporting infrastructure across regions. It will be very administrative, and task focussed rather than service focussed.
Day to Day (list not exhaustive see attached job description)
* Support the Nominated Individual and Registered Managers all aspects regulatory compliance, registration, inspection and reporting processes. Contribute to and coordinate relevant forums as part of the organisation governance structure.
* Undertake responsive and independent assessments in response to quality performance metrics, data and intelligence as required by the Chief Officers Group.
* To provide support following the receipt of complaints and other associated regulatory actions, including acting as the main liaison point for regulatory complainants, fact finding and responses.
* To support investigations conducted by the regulators or statutory partners regarding alleged misconduct and/breaches of standards and other relevant legislation and regulations.
* Carry out audit to test organisational processes for compliance with regulatory requirements.
* To be responsible for monitoring outcomes against inspection criteria and ensuring that information is feedback to improve service delivery to meet timescales.
* Provide advice and guidance to maintain compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulation 2014 and Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010.
Our ideal Candidate
Skills and Experience (list not exhaustive see attached job description)
* Professional Qualification in Health and Social Care e.g. qualified Nurse, Social Worker
* Level 5 QCF Diploma in Adult Care (leadership and management within a health and social care setting)
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within health and social care setting, preferably in Quality / Compliance role
* Extensive knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations relating to registration and reporting
* Proven experience of working within a regulated frameworks including the CQC, CI and SSSC
* Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC and CI regulations, frameworks and inspection process
* Developing improvements plans and sustaining quality improvement.
* Good understanding Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulation 2014 and the responsibilities of a registered provider
* Understanding risk management/quality standards
* Understanding of quality assurance systems and processes
