Do you have Infection Prevention Control (IPC) expertise and / or significant experience of applying IPC best practice in your clinical work? Are you interested in working alongside enthusiastic colleagues at the Royal Devon University Healthcare (RDUH) NHS Foundation Trust? The post holder will be a role model for IPC, must be able to work independently across the setting, be an effective member of the wider team and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Working in this team will also support you to work autonomously to create quality improvement projects in IPC, using your creative and leadership skills whilst having support from the team to allow you to achieve these goals. Personal development is important to the RDUH IPC team and you will be supported and encouraged to undertake a programme of study in IPC at post graduate level. You will need to be able to influence others, prioritise work and have a flexible approach. The role will be varied and includes: promoting best practice in respect to IPC, providing specialist advice and guidance for staff and patients, administering the audit programme, analysing and interpreting data and preparing and delivering reports. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday but includes weekend working.
