About the role
Shift Leader Rate of Pay: Starts from £14.28 an hour; increases to £15.41 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location and skills.
We offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with opportunities to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12).

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Shift Leader, you will support your team and oversee store operations, ensuring a rewarding experience for customers and colleagues.
Your Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers.
* Support your colleagues in delivering daily priorities and taking regular breaks.
* Open and close the store, ensuring safety and compliance.
* Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of a manager.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented store.
* Assist managers with community and charity events.
* Foster an inclusive team atmosphere.
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Keep the team informed on communications and updates.
* Stay knowledgeable about store performance and seek improvements.
* Coordinate store improvements and ensure health and safety compliance.
* Recognize and celebrate colleagues providing great service.
