Contract: Permanent Salary: HC08 £39,513 to £43,693 Hours: 37 Location: Plough Lane, Hereford Closing date: 8 th December 2024 Herefordshire Council is looking to recruit an Estates Surveyor to join a professional and passionate team. We have an exciting journey ahead to reinvigorate property management across the Council. The role offers a varied caseload including estate management, lettings, acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and development work. You will work in wide team of technical experts to deliver Herefordshire Council's policies and priorities in relation to a diverse and multi-faceted property estate extending to over 1,200 property assets. You will provide professional advice to Herefordshire Council services, external partners and organisations. We need someone who is highly motivated and have the technical expertise, knowledge and experience within the estate management sector to provide high quality advice to the council as well as the ability to think outside the box and provide innovative solutions to technical issues and challenges. RICS and / or CAAV qualified is desirable, but not essential. We need someone who has experience of working on their own initiative, with different service teams and occupants. We want someone who understands property management from the bottom up- You’ll need to understand and have experience of all aspects of property and asset management and how they fit together.
