Job Description
BallyCara is offering a unique opportunity to work just minutes from the beautiful Scarborough waterfront.
We're looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to support our Chefs in food preparation for residents and help ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Food preparation
* Assisting with kitchen operations
* Maintaining strict hygiene standards
* Contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with previous kitchen experience (preferably in a similar setting). At BallyCara, safety is a top priority, and adherence to our workplace health and safety procedures is essential. You should be comfortable working independently and managing physically demanding tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Knowledge of food handling and preparation
* Ability to work with limited supervision
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Capability to manage multiple tasks and follow directions
* Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
* A current national Police Check clearance or the ability to obtain one through the BallyCara recruitment process
