Salary- Negotiable, commensurate with experience, starting from GBP24,000 per annum
We are working with an independent, highly successful, expanding law firm who specialise in civil litigation and conveyancing matters.
We are looking to attract an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support their team of Civil Litigation Fee Earners.
The role will involve:
* Providing administrative and technical support to fee earners in the Litigation team
* Handling enquiries
* Client onboarding
* Use of a legal case management system
* File opening
* Liaising with clients and third party professionals regarding matters pertaining to civil litigation including landlord and tenant matters, debt recovery matters, professional negligence disputes etc.
Suitable candidates will have:
* Experience as a legal assistant / legal secretary supporting a Litigation Department within a law firm (ideally Lexcel accredited)
* Experience of using a legal case management system
* Excellent client care skills and communication skills
* An understanding of the litigation process relating to landlord and tenant matters, debt recovery matters, professional negligence disputes etc.
* A sound understanding of industry forms, precedents, and procedures.
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The role is fully office-based.
