Members include regional universities, NHS, local authority and third sector organisations. The post holder will work with the IMPaCT team within AHRh to deliver a range of health- and care-related research / implementation / evaluation projects (including primary research, evidence syntheses), particularly those prioritised through Applied Research Collaboration Northwest Coast (ARC NWC). They will contribute to research capacity building activities with ARC NWC member organisations. This will include supporting and contributing to the strategic development of collaborative research within AHRh and University and NIHR ARC Northwest coast partner organisations. The post holder will be supported by experienced researchers, whilst further developing their own skills and experience in health research. The successful applicant will have a PhD or equivalent experiential learning in a relevant area and a Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant area. They should have experience of research management in health and care demonstrated by a track record of involvement in a number of research / evaluation-based projects. They should also have a record of academic peer reviewed publications/research reports and evidence of excellent organisation skills with proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines with the framework of an agreed programme. Research skills including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis are essential as is good IT skills including proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, RefMan and EndNote. The postholder should be self-motivated and able to use initiative to work alone as well as excellent communication skills including good verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
