Job Vacancy: Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Year 4 Class in Openshaw, Manchester
We are currently working with a fantastic primary school in Openshaw, Manchester, who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting children with additional needs and will play a key role in helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to Year 4 pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom activities, and the preparation of teaching resources.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with additional needs, helping them engage with the curriculum.
Implement strategies to support the academic, social, and emotional development of children with varying needs.
Support the teacher in managing the classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Help monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback and reporting where necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with children who have additional needs, particularly in a primary school setting.
A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both pupils and staff.
A passion for supporting children's development and creating an inclusive classroom environment.
