To be responsible for all logistics, planning and routing of the vehicles and operators. To plan all jobs in a fuel-efficient manner ensuring all operators are maximised. To ensure customers are kept updated with relevant changes.
Responsibilities:
* Confirm all shifts and add to the Suction Excavator planner.
* Assign trucks and operatives to each project, coordinating travel times and working hours, ensuring that working and driving restrictions are adhered to.
* Chase purchase orders once the jobs are confirmed.
* Send vehicle details/training packs to each client prior to job start.
* Manage & deal with queries from operators and clients.
* Liaise with the transport manager to ensure truck availability as required.
* Liaise with the training manager to ensure all training for operators is up to date and correct and training packs are available when required.
* Ensure all site inductions have been booked and completed prior to attending site.
* Keep customers and operators updated as needed with site and/or operational changes.
* Keep driver schedule updated, and job dispatched to operators.
* Manage and oversee all operator holiday bookings.
* Ensure the operations manager and yard manager are kept up to date with operational requirements.
This is maternity cover until at least Feb 2026.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
