JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager (HVAC) with a background in HVAC distribution to drive sales across the Midlands or Leeds region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for a distributor and selling to contractors, with a strong understanding of the HVAC market and the ability to build lasting relationships.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
1. Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within the Midlands or Leeds region.
2. Identify and target HVAC contractors, building strong relationships and understanding their business needs.
3. Promote and sell a broad range of HVAC products, providing expert guidance on selection and application.
4. Work closely with internal technical support and product teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
5. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal preparation to closing deals and after-sales support.
6. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to ensure the company remains a preferred supplier.
7. Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings to maintain engagement and drive business development.
8. Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure seamless customer service and efficient order processing.
9. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management on key opportunities, challenges, and achievements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Proven track record in HVAC sales within a distributor environment.
2. Strong understanding of selling to contractors and building lasting customer relationships.
3. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and applications.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Willingness to travel regularly within the Midlands or Leeds area.
