We are looking for an experienced and driven Station Manager to oversee the seamless delivery of Biocair’s specialised logistics solutions. In this role, you will manage all logistics functions at your station, including transportation, warehousing, and the upkeep of the facility, ensuring every operation aligns with Biocair's high standards and processes. You will lead and inspire Biocair’s logistics teams, using business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance performance across the board. By setting strategic local goals, optimising resources such as fleet utilisation, and designing impactful Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs), you’ll drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Responsibilities will include: Act as ultimate escalation contact for shipment deviations and issue resolution at the station level Responsibility for the operational management and control of the local Biocair fleet to ensure optimal performance productivity, cost and adherence to standards Hold regular one-on-one meetings with Team Managers to provide support and coaching on team management and personal objectives Conduct Quarterly Review process, setting employee objectives, identifying training gaps Analyse service metrics and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) per Biocair station Report Business Intelligence insights and Operational Intelligence analyzed by Team Managers to Leadership Team to support regional Business Development and Process Improvement Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of staff paid leave records, sick time, TOIL, and hourly time keeping records Report hourly timekeeping records to the Biocair HR staff in a timely manner for completion of payroll Foster a culture that prioritises continuous improvement & business optimiation, compliance, risk mitigation, and safety within the organisation.
