Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: up to 40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Role Summary:
You will be required to lead our client's production operations based from their state-of-the-art facility in Ashford. You will be tasked with driving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
* Manage and motivate the Production Team.
* Ensure the smooth running of production.
* Adhere to GMP requirements.
* Ensure that all products are produced to specification and OTIF.
* Ensure that all staff comply with Health and Safety procedures.
* Develop the production team to optimise performance.
* Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
* Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
* Track and report key performance metrics, analysing to identify trends and inform decision-making.
* Ensure full communication flows across the organisation.
* Organise the production team to ensure targets are achieved.
* Ensure GMP and Quality standards are understood and maintained.
* Work alongside the Technical team to be audit ready at all times.
* Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure continuous improvement.
* Take ownership of operations and processes.
* Support the project team to develop site investment opportunities.
Experience and skills required for this position:
* A background in food, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical industries.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and GMP requirements.
* Understanding of relevant production processes and engineering principles.
* Previous management experience.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
