Job summary We currently have 2 roles available - one at City and one at QMC campus. We have an exciting opportunity to join our dietetic team at NUH as a dietetic technician (1.0WTE permanent role). You will be working alongside the dietetic team supporting patients across different inpatient settings to advise, monitor and support specific patients with complex nutritional needs. Working to agreed protocols you will have your own case load, reporting to a supervising dietitian and refer patients where more complicated dietetic intervention is needed. You will be supporting patients on the ward who have a poor nutritional intake and working alongside the dietitians to implement nutritional care plans. Accurate recording of all patient activity and the use of computer systems will be an integral part of your role in addition to the ordering and co-ordinating the delivery of nutritional products. As a technician you will be expected to deliver educational activities such as Cardiac Rehabilitation Programmes and other health promotion initiatives.
