About the Role: Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of world religions, ethical theories, and philosophical concepts. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical analysis, discussion, and independent research. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and discussions, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to philosophy or ethics. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field. A strong knowledge of world religions, ethical theories, and philosophical concepts. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead thoughtful discussions. A passion for fostering intellectual curiosity and respect for diverse beliefs.
