The vacancy As an Administrator within the Timetabling and Course Planning Team (Student Information Service), you will play a crucial role in assisting the maintenance of student data throughout the student lifecycle. You will work closely with peers and curriculum areas to ensure a professional and customer-focused service for both internal and external stakeholders. The job role focuses on creating of student and staff timetables, registers, booking rooms, set-up of courses and programmes, and other tasks relating to timetabling and course planning across the site. Key Responsibilities: Enrolments: Manage enrolments for FE, HE, and Apprenticeships. Data Maintenance: Maintain student data post-enrolment through to completion and achievement. Exams Administration: Handle registrations, exams entries, certification, and results recording. Timetabling: Assist with timetabling activities and course set-up within the student information system. Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service across all sites, ensuring accurate and timely data management. Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with regulatory and legislative requirements, including health and safety and equal opportunities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Input and maintain student data accurately and promptly. Liaise with staff across departments to ensure all required information is correctly provided. Manage enrolments, withdrawals, transfers, and completions. Handle secure storage and management of exams materials. Assist in reporting on course and student records to support business needs and external data submissions. Essential Criteria: A L2 or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (and willingness to work towards L3) or equivalent experience/technical expertise. GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above. Experience in a student-data related role, or similar. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities - working flexibly and to deadlines where required. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Proficient in using student data systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
