This position reports to
Director of Service Operations
Your role and responsibilities
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process industries division based in the Portland, OR region. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Preventive maintenance, installation, corrective service and telephone/remote access support of laboratory and production process testing instruments.
2. Service activities must be performed within established ISO certified policies and procedures and documented accordingly.
Qualifications for the role
* Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field and 8+ years of related work/military experience required. Or HS Diploma and 10+ years of related work/military experience required.
* Network support, Computer repair and OS restoration as well as software configuration is preferred.
* Experience using calibration and electronic test equipment is desired.
* General software knowledge a must (Win10, MS Office365).
* Ability to work overtime as necessary to meet customer’s needs.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally 65%+ of the time.
* Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
