Job Summary
Since 2009 NHS North East Lincolnshire Talking Therapies service has provided low and high intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, couples psychotherapy, Counselling for Depression and Interpersonal Therapy. The clinical team consists of High Intensity Therapists, Counsellors, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Interpersonal Therapists and Employment Advisers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated individual to join the NHSTT team as a Clinical Business Manager. This is a new role within the service and will focus heavily on clinical project management alongside daily management tasks. The Clinical Business Manager will form part of the Management Team within the NHSTT. The post holder will work alongside corporate services to lead on quality improvement projects, business developments and be the lead for community engagement work. They will oversee clinical and non-clinical project work including triage and waiting well initiatives.
Main Duties of the Job
Interviews will be conducted by NHS Talking Therapies Clinical Lead, Service Manager, a Team Manager and a service user representative.
Candidate must be registered with a professional body to be shortlisted for this role. Examples include: NMC, SWE, BABCP or BACP amongst others.
This post requires the individual to work from the office base at least 80% of their time. The remaining time can be worked from home to allow for increased periods of concentration.

The main objectives of this role are:
1. To provide efficient and effective management in respect of business development and project management.
2. To serve as the initial contact both internally and externally for NHSTT with regard to project, quality, performance and business matters.
3. To be involved with recruitment, ensuring consistency, fairness, transparency, ethical standards, integrity and legislative compliance.
4. To work with corporate service colleagues and stakeholders to formulate ongoing service, process, information and people development provision.
5. To act as co-budget holder in partnership with the Clinical lead.
6. To lead on and manage NHSTT quality projects and developments.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential:
* Hold a professional registration with a recognised professional body including BABCP, BACP, NMC, SWE etc.
Desirable:
* Attained recognised qualification relevant to the job role.
* Management, leadership, HR or project management qualification to Level 5 or above.
Experience
Essential:
* Experience of working at management level within a health and/or social care environment.
* Proven track record of successful project management.
Desirable:
* Experience of handling complaints.
* Experience of conducting and following up audits.
Skills & Attributes
Essential:
* Excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally.
* Extensive experience of using Microsoft packages.
Desirable:
* Ability to delegate as required.
* Ability to produce complex spreadsheets.
