About the role
The Cloud Security Architect is responsible for leading the development of information security architecture and ensuring technology initiatives are implemented within the framework to make our client's cloud environments more secure. The Cloud Security Architect is accountable for securing enterprise information by identifying network and application security requirements, planning, implementing and testing security controls and procedures. The role is customer facing.

Delivering high-quality expertise in security architecture services to our wide range of clients, providing them with tailor-made solutions for their challenges.
Roles and responsibilities
1. Work closely with enterprise architects to identify and mitigate risks, perform security reviews, design top tier security practices, and deliver strategic, innovative cloud based security offerings.
2. Propose, design, plan and execute strategic and tactical operational security objectives.
3. Work with our clients' cloud / security architects to help design and implement appropriate cloud guardrails.
4. Knowledge or experience in securing key SaaS platforms such as: Workday, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.
5. Perform deep analysis and develop metrics that measure current risk.
6. Identify appropriate technology/data sources and drive the collection of data necessary to effectively evaluate threats.
7. Communicate threat intelligence and vulnerability management options.
8. Analysing threats and current security controls to identify gaps in current defensive posture.
9. Meet with clients and lead workshops.
10. Work directly with our alliance partners namely Microsoft, Google, and AWS.
This role is for you if:
1. You have strong experience in architecture and security management as well as an understanding of security best practices.
2. You have worked with securing network and enterprise cloud applications - ideally GCP, Azure or AWS.
3. You have strong knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-53 or OWASP.
4. You have knowledge of host hardening, auditing, logging and monitoring, network security, SEIM deployments, security analytics, anomaly detections, PKI.
5. You have proven implementation of cloud security models, particularly identity, network, and encryption.
6. You have demonstrated understanding of Microsoft security technologies and strategy.
7. You have program management skills and solution support for security transformation/implementation programs.
8. You have business case development skills for justifying, prioritising & forecasting the funding requirements for security programs and initiatives.
