RHL Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team in Cornwall.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring tender submissions and quotes are fair, realistic, and aligned with project specifications and budget constraints. You will oversee the completion of works to guarantee they meet agreed timelines, standards, and costs, providing value for money.
* Manage all activities to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal safety standards, and provide management with relevant reports and updates.
* Support the Procurement Team to ensure fair billing for completed engineering works, assuring transparency and value for the Client.
* Oversee costs related to projects to ensure validity and value for money.
* Monitor delivery of the service to ensure that costs are in line with forecasts.
You will work closely with the Procurement function to ensure that contracts are put in place that are the most suitable to ensure delivery of the requirement in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Please note that a degree level qualification in a relevant subject area and experience with NEC3 & NEC4 Form of Contracts, including Options A & C, are essential requirements for this role.
