Salesforce Engineering Manager
What you'll do
* You'll lead a cross-functional group of engineers to design, develop, integrate and manage software features and enhancements using the Salesforce and AWS Cloud platforms.
* Proactively maintain platform service, ensuring high availability, effective incident response, and permanent resolutions to problems.
* Coach, nurture, challenge and support your engineers on how to achieve their technical, business, and personal goals.
* Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to deliver features in line with the outcome team's roadmap.
* Ensure owned solutions are maintainable, reliable, scalable, secure, built using reusable patterns and standards, and meet performance expectations.
* Enhance the engineering and delivery processes with the team.
* Identify value-based intent that your team will deliver in support of defined outcome team objectives.
What we're looking for
* You'll have demonstrable experience in leading, challenging, and supporting an engineering team to achieve business goals.
* You'll have an empathy and understanding of the challenges that developers face.
* You're comfortable in reaching technical trade-offs between short-term team and long-term business needs.
* You're passionate about recruiting and developing great engineering talent.
* You'll demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and work together across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste.

Where and how you'll work
This is a permanent position and is based in our Nottingham office.
We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.
We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
