TEACHING ASSISTANT for KEY STAGE ONE and KEY STAGE TWO

Employment Type: Permanent Contract, 32.5 hours per week, term time + 3 days

Pay Range: £24,790 - £25,183 FTE. Term time plus 3 pro rata is £18,459-£18,751.
On 1st September 2024, Berwick St Mary’s and Norham St. Ceolwulf’s CE First Schools joined together to form ‘The Tweed Learning Federation’. Berwick St Mary’s CE First School is seeking to appoint a pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic, and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working across KS1 and KS2 supporting the learning of all of the children, including those with SEND.
The successful candidate will have the vision and drive to make a significant impact in our vibrant school and who is committed to making a difference to the lives of our children.

6. Deliver learning activities for individuals/groups or for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil’s achievement, progress, and development
7. Use specialist skills and training to support the pupils, encouraging pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others and engage all pupils in activities
8. Put children’s safety and wellbeing first
9. Be highly motivated with a commitment to securing the best outcomes for all children
10. Be actively involved in all aspects of school life
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children/young people, is interested in their development and learning, and has good organisational and communication skills.
