The Customer Support Administrator at GB Railfreight works closely with the Intermodal Customer Service Team and Delivery Manager to ensure that our trains are filled to maximum capacity by undertaking commercial administrative duties. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with requests from customers and suppliers on a daily basis. Closing date: 24th March 25 ⦁ Liaise with customers to ensure bookings are placed on the system, customers are issued with relevant reference numbers and receive confirmation of arrivals and departures. Stock management as per the customer requirements is also required. ⦁ Manage, organise and update data on various systems including but not limited to destin8, TOPS, Paris, COMA and SCORPIO. ⦁ There will be a requirement to interrogate data on the live systems as well as the information on train lists to review bookings versus actual delivery. ⦁ Identify any possible issues with containers and raise this to relevant parties so any issues can be resolved in a timely manner ⦁ Plan the movement of containers from road haulage to third party depots. ⦁ Manage additional charge notifications where necessary. ⦁ Upload interchange reports and attach to the correct file Are you the right candidate? This role requires someone with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure that bookings are accurate and arranged in a timely fashion. This is a fast paced role so you must have the ability to prioritise and multi task whilst ensuring accuracy of you work. You will need strong communication skills as you will be dealing with requests from customers and suppliers on a daily basis and we're looking for someone who will go the extra mile to exceed expectations It's desirable for candidates to have railway and TOP’s experience although full training will be provided.
