Job Description: Customer Service Assistant £22,000 - £23,000 Full-Time Salary Regular Monday to Friday daytime hours are available with our local client, a well-established family-run business specialising in Health Insurance. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills and experience in general administration. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organisational abilities, and the capability to work effectively as a member of a team. Your work will contribute to maintaining high service standards as you collaborate professionally in a busy business environment. All product and system training will be provided—you must demonstrate a desire to succeed and effective communication skills. Responsibilities for this position include: - Reviewing notes and reports of ongoing claims and liaising with the Claims Team. - Executing the scanning function to transition the business from manual to electronic records. - Handling general inquiries via telephone or email, including providing guidance on the customer treatment pathway. - Maintaining internal databases and accurately recording all events, details, and actions in workplace systems. - Keeping client records up to date to support broader processes. - Providing general support with processing invoices and producing reports. - Managing your own workflow efficiently and in a timely manner. - Understanding how the role’s functions interlink with and benefit others. - Responding to and taking action on requests accurately and within the given timeframe. - Undertaking necessary training and staying current with knowledge. - Applying data protection measures effectively throughout the role. - Working efficiently as a member of the team.
