The successful candidate will be a specialist in Design Technology, capable of teaching up to GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate. The Role: Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with the school’s goals and national standards. Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback that supports their growth and achievement. Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide targeted support for individual students. Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan. Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools. Strong knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum. A Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related discipline (desirable).
