We’re seeking an experienced and driven Tech Lead to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team and help shape the future of innovation in the proptech space. This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with a small but highly skilled cross-functional team, developing cutting-edge software and building scalable systems that meet and exceed the needs of our clients.
As a Tech Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our development efforts, driving progress and fostering innovation. You’ll lead a collaborative team through discovery and ideation, working closely with designers, product owners, and engineers to prioritise challenges, develop creative solutions, and deliver impactful results iteratively.

A bit about the job.
* Supporting, leading and coaching a small but highly talented cross-functional team.
* Being hands-on with building a best in class piece of software.
* Being a driving force behind best programming practices and taking your team on that journey with you.
* Collaborating closely with our in-house teams, our customers, and commercial colleagues in the business in order to build the best product we can.
* Working at scale, building tools, systems, and features for our clients.
* Staying hands-on while managing systems architecture with a strong backend focus.
A bit about you.
* You’ll have hands-on experience with Cloud architecture (AWS and/or GCP preferred).
* You’re a passionate advocate for best practices including Agile, TDD and OOP.
* You’ll ideally have experience building and operating production systems at scale.
* You’ll have the confidence to lead technical conversations, balance commercial needs, and maintain a collaborative, startup-like agility.
* Experience with distributed systems and the design of scalable, high-performing architectures would be advantageous in driving our success as we continue to grow and innovate.

£60,000-£70,000 dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
