The Role:
As the Deputy Manager of this Service, you will support the multi-disciplinary management team of committed professionals to achieve positive outcomes for the children who receive support from the home. You will have skills in leadership, communication, and experience of working with children with complex needs who may engage in behaviours of concern and/or who are trauma experienced.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
Working Pattern:
This role requires you to work 50% of your hours providing direct care and support to children living in the home, the rest of your hours will be office time to enable you to fulfil the management aspects of your role. You will be required to work weekends, evenings and have the ability to undertake sleep in shifts.
What you’ll need to succeed:
You will be confident, innovative, creative and calm under pressure. You will have at least three years experience of working in an Ofsted registered Children’s Home.
