You will s upport the operational activities and project initiatives undertaken by LSTM’s Office for Research Strategy & Knowledge Exchange (ORS & KE) that includes project co-ordination and support, data analysis and preparation, financial oversight and Committee and Working group participation. Key responsibilities will include: Research Strategy & Knowledge Exchange Operational Support the Director and wider leadership team in relation to co-ordination, planning, scheduling and monitoring of department activity. Coordinate and provide administrative support and oversight on a range of project initiatives. Develop and maintain the relevant KE Committee and Team SharePoint sites. Support and contribute to the Knowledge Exchange Committee, task and finish groups and assist in the coordination of planning and scheduling. Support in the preparation and analysis of data, formation of metrics and production of reports. Create surveys and feedback, produce reports, and collate information for relevant Committees. Participate in regular dialogue and liaison with all stakeholders to understand and respond to the needs of the academic community. Coordinate the quality of data inputted into the Current Research Information System (CRIS) and ensure regular data cleansing and good housekeeping practices are followed Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) / Knowledge Exchange Concordat (KEC) Provide processing, analysis and submission of data related to the department’s response to the requirements of Research England’s’ KEF and KEC. Contribute to the collection, analysis and management of CRIS and KE related data. Monitor, interpret and report on policy changes relating to the KEF and KEC. Support the leadership team with the successful development and implementation of the KE concordat principles and action plan. Assist in the development of processes, monitoring and institutional reporting related to the KEF/KEC. Office for Research Strategy & Knowledge Exchange Administration Support Organising key meetings, diary arrangements and key contacts under direction. Support department financial monitoring requirements including raising requisitions, purchase order processing and invoice receipting for the department. Reconciliation of purchase cards related to key staff expenditure. Organisation of travel, accommodation and event bookings. Qualifications and skills required: A confident approach to working with multiple stakeholders to support successful outcomes. Experienced in an operation, planning or information role in a relevant sector A technical knowledge of data and insights, confident with handling and interpretation of data. Knowledge and understanding of data and information created within a higher education context or similar research environment.
