* Inspection Readiness: Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Ofsted and CQC, ensuring services are always inspection-ready and compliant with current legislation.
* Strategic Oversight: You excel in providing strategic direction, ensuring that services meet statutory requirements and deliver on key performance indicators.
* Financial Acumen: With experience in managing budgets and resources effectively, you ensure value for money while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and operational management of statutory SEND services.
* Ensure services are compliant with relevant legislation, such as the Children Act, Working Together guidance, and the Children and Families Act.
* Oversee service development projects and establish partnerships locally, regionally, and nationally.
* Contribute to the safeguarding of all children and young people within the remit of the role.
* Act as an ambassador for transformation and change, driving sustainable, high-quality, and efficient services.
* Manage risks and ensure the reputation of the council and its partners is upheld.
