About the role The Transformation Programme Director is a key member of the Transformation leadership team, tasked with the delivery of strategic change programmes to deliver the critical priorities of the business. The primary focus of the role is to lead the delivery of the new platform and the resulting migrations of the James Hay, Nucleus Wrap and Curtis Banks customer books onto the new FNZ OneX technology. In future, this role will also be responsible for the delivery of new initiatives as required, including supporting any future M&A planning and integration. Responsibilities Delivery of the programme to launch and the FNZ OneX platform and commencement of adviser new business across key distribution priorities. Lead the programme for migration of the James Hay customer book, driving a safe and successful customer and adviser transition that builds confidence for future activity across all stakeholders. Lead the activity to define the migration strategy and approach for future migrations to drive time, cost and quality considerations with explicit consideration of effective customer outcomes. Primary responsibility for day to day delivery relationship with FNZ and other technology partners critical to launch and migration activity e.g. Bravura. Manage the programme leadership team effectively, both direct reporting and ‘dotted line’ resources, building a high performing, focussed delivery team. Responsible for managing strategic third party relationships to support programme delivery e.g. consultancy support including commercial and performance oversight. Implement and maintain effective programme governance arrangements, utilising the PMO capability to drive appropriate reporting and management information, oversight of delivery profile, tracking of costs v budget and coordination of assurance activity. Maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders to drive confidence in the approach and execution of transformation, including supporting the engagement with the FCA on migration readiness and preparations alongside the Chief Transformation Officer and CRO. Key participants in the Platform Transformation SteerCo and deputy chair for the Chief Transformation Officer, coordinating the executive accountability for delivery of workstreams and key readiness requirements through clear governance and MI provision. Lead and motivate the Programme team, both direct reporting lines and the broader delivery across multi-functional areas against priority items. Lead, monitor and intervene where appropriate to ensure that the Cost / Benefit assumptions are met and lead on post-implementation reviews and document learnings. Proven experience of delivery of FNZ platform development and deployment including complex migrations of significant customer numbers and assets, including management of key relationships with delivery leaders within FNZ to maintain focus and progress. Understanding of software development lifecycle and its key component part e.g. solution design, testing strategies, migration readiness etc. Knowledge of the platform sector proposition, products and services and the specific demands of the Nucleus proposition, including the specific features of complex pensions, including off-platform assets, commercial property etc Robust understanding of the wider operating model of a platform business and outsourcing arrangements. Knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements relating to the role.
