Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Sunderland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: DOE
About Us:
Superior Recruitment Group is a leading recruitment company that thrives on providing exceptional service and innovative solutions. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Administrator to join our team, reporting into the two directors of the business. This role is based in Sunderland and is full-time. While there will always be a degree of flexibility, our preference is to be in the office five days per week and contribute to creating an excellent culture across our team.
The role heavily involves data administration, writing emails, writing sales approaches, and liaising with stakeholders in potential customers. There is no phone sales involved; however, if this is something you would like to be involved with, we would actively encourage this, but it is not mandatory for this particular position.
Superior has offices in Sunderland and Aberdeen, and our clients are national. We are actively trying to grow our client base in the United States of America. A large part of this role, in the afternoon, will involve writing and sending sales approaches to potential customers in the United States, offering our recruitment solutions alongside our innovative methodologies.
Compliance is a key part of this role; recording data on our CRM is non-negotiable, so excellent administration skills are vital along with attention to detail and first-class grammatical and communication skills.
The ultimate aim of this role is to generate opportunities for our directors to sell the business services to potential customers. Key methods still involve cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and automated sales campaigns using some of the tech tools we have in our portfolio.
Full training is provided on our industry, products, and how we sell. You would be provided with templates that would merely need personalizing to the stakeholder you will be approaching. This role could grow into several different opportunities; it is newly created, and the directors feel it is critical to our success.
We would encourage the incumbent to attend potential meetings that they have influenced in setting up from their sales approach and outreach, alongside the directors. This may require travel locally and in key locations such as Glasgow and Aberdeen. Mid to long term, there is the possible opportunity for relocation to the US for the right individual, subject to excellent performance in this role.
Everybody in the business, no matter what position, helps with answering phones, so a professional, outgoing, friendly voice is required at all times. If you are organized, customer-focused, and looking for a role that combines administrative duties with supporting a high-performing sales team, this could be the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the sales team by timely and accurate entry into the system.
2. Prepare and send pricing and product information to potential customers.
3. Outreach to secure team meetings and face-to-face meetings for the Directors.
4. Reach out to potential customers for our external events such as HR Huddles.
5. Maintain and update customer records and sales databases (our CRM).
6. Liaise with Directors and Delivery Team around our capabilities to support potential customers.
7. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent service and resolving issues promptly.
8. Assist with the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
9. Support the sales team with administrative tasks and help coordinate client meetings or travel arrangements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar sales administration or customer service role.
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
What We Offer:
1. Competitive salary and benefits package.
2. Opportunities for career growth and development.
3. Bonus Scheme for any new clients you secure of £250 per UK customer and £500 per US customer.
4. Travel opportunities.
5. A supportive and collaborative team environment.
