The Opportunity As a Quality Auditor /Assembly Operative, you'll join a dynamic Production Team committed to high safety and quality standards. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet customer expectations for quality and quantity. The role will be primarily Quality Auditor based but will require the successful candidate to assist on the assembly line when required. You'll also learn Lean Manufacturing techniques to ensure tasks are done right the first time. During your first week, you'll undergo an in-depth induction to familiarize yourself with Caterpillar, your role, and our core values, setting you up for success. What you will do As a Quality Auditor /Assembly Operative, you are accountable for, but not limited to: Quality Assurance : Keep an eye on the production process, perform tests, and ensure every product meets our high standards. Record defect information in detail to the quality gate visual management boards/management systems and clearly communicate defects and support area personnel as defects are identified. Operate and Maintain Equipment : Skillfully handle production tools like conveyors, hoists, and lifts, and keep them in top shape. Assembly Work : Use your hands and DC tools to build and fit parts into high quality finished products. Continuous Improvement : Champion being part of changes that make our processes better and more efficient. Report and Collaborate : Quickly report any safety or quality issues and work closely with your team to keep everything running smoothly. NB.
