Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description Job Duties: Provide individualised support and tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on students' specific needs and abilities Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and personal development Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience in using assistive technology to support learning Training in behaviour management techniques Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres Potential travel to students' homes or other locations Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
