I’m currently working with a high-end luxury automotive company, renowned for innovation, craftsmanship, and excellence, as they look to redefine their global e-commerce and digital business strategy.
They are seeking a Product Strategy Lead with strong stakeholder management skills to lead the development of a cohesive e-commerce and e-business strategy aligned with their global business goals.
This role will focus on creating a unified roadmap for their systems, processes, and customer journeys across diverse product areas and international markets. It’s a unique opportunity to shape the future of their e-commerce and digital services while navigating a complex, global business environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define a clear, enterprise-level e-commerce and e-business strategy that integrates systems and processes across products (vehicles, accessories, branded merchandise, App subscriptions) and regions.
2. Develop a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with the business’s target state architecture and long-term goals.
Customer-Centric Vision:
1. Address fragmentation in the customer journey by creating a seamless end-to-end purchasing experience, including opportunities for cross-sell and bundled offerings.
2. Propose solutions for integrating multiple product areas (e.g., vehicle purchases, branded merchandise, and app subscriptions) into a unified journey.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
1. Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including global IT teams, regional business units, and leadership, to build consensus and align priorities.
2. Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics, resolving conflicting priorities and fostering collaboration across teams.
Global Alignment:
1. Evaluate and propose strategies to address global inconsistencies in e-commerce systems (e.g., different regional solutions).
2. Work with local teams to ensure the strategy respects regional requirements while driving global alignment.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a delivery or implementation role. Instead, it is focused on strategic planning, defining roadmaps, and building the foundation for future execution by operational teams.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
1. A strategic thinker with experience in developing enterprise-level roadmaps.
2. Skilled at engaging and managing diverse stakeholders, especially in complex, global organisations.
3. Experience in an organisation dealing with B2B and B2C.
4. Experienced in e-commerce or digital transformation projects, with a strong understanding of customer-centric solutions.
This is your chance to make a lasting impact on the future of the automotive industry. By defining the strategy and roadmap for their e-commerce and e-business systems, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming their customer journey and driving business growth on a global scale.
This is a contract position paying £800 a day, and is a hybrid position requiring 2/3 days a week in the office in Gaydon (CV35 0RR).
