Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and eager to make a difference in the education sector? Join our dynamic Digital Technologies team as an IT Infrastructure Engineer!
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems across multiple sites. You will work closely with senior team members to implement new systems and technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT services.
What you'll be doing:
* Support and manage Microsoft365 suite, including InTune, MDM, AAD, and Azure environments.
* Deploy and manage Microsoft security services and products.
* Assist in network security management, including security assessments, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
* Perform network administration tasks and configure cloud technology.
* Maintain LAN/WAN, storage devices, virtualised environments, servers, and network devices.
* Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers.
* Prepare reports and documentation on network, cloud systems, and security products.
* Undertake projects and support all College sites as required.
What we're looking for:
* Level 3 IT Qualification and GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent).
* Solid experience in an IT infrastructure/network team environment.
* Knowledge of Windows server operating systems, network configurations, and network security.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Experience with administering Microsoft 365 products and Azure cloud environments.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and organisational skills.
