Our client a national leading data centre main contractor actively seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic chance to work on landmark projects circa of £100,000,000 and contribute to the continued success and growth of a renowned company.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Health and Safety Advisor in ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with project teams to provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters.
* Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
* Deliver training and educational programs to promote a strong health and safety culture.
* Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry best practices and communicate relevant information to the team.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH certification is essential.
* Previous experience working within the construction industry is highly desirable.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and assess potential risks.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
