The Role
:
As a Registered Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of a children's residential home, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for the residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide social work support to individuals and families.
2. Administer medications according to guidelines.
3. Assist with budgeting and financial management.
4. Coordinate home care services for residents.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities.
6. Ensure high-quality care and support for children and young people.
7. Act as the Registered Manager as per Children's Homes Regulations .
Requirements:
8. Previously worked as a Registered Manager or in a similar role.
9. At least 2 years of experience in supervising & managing staff in a care role, including working with children & young people in a residential setting.
10. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
11. Understanding of home care services and resources.
12. Recognised professional qualification relevant to working with children and young people.
13. Strong social work skills and emotional support capabilities.
14. Valid UK driving license would be preferred.
