Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Medicines Management Assistant to work as part of our friendly team. The role of a Medicines Management Assistant (Band 3) is an exciting an innovative role. The successful candidate will work within the dispensary and the ward based teams providing the face of pharmacy. You will work with the pharmacist and pharmacy technician teams providing a seamless service to the the wards and dispensary. Please note this role is bank only role for the period of three months. Shifts will be only available for day time between Monday and Friday. Main duties of the job The Bank Medicines Management Assistant will work in a supporting role to both ward and dispensary. Working closely with the pharmacist, and medicines management technician you will be expected to ensure patients medicines, and ward stock are available in a timely manner. The successful candidate will take part in a dispensing rota and manage the timely supply of urgent medicines. General audits will need to be carried out to improve service.
