My client, a leading contractor in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Information Manager with a solid background in site-based roles to join their team on a high-profile £80M recladding project in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Information Manager looking to contribute to a significant project while working closely with a skilled team to ensure smooth and efficient management of all project-related information.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the management and control of all project-related documentation, including drawings, contracts, specifications, and reports.
Ensure that information is accurately filed, stored, and easily accessible in accordance with project requirements.
Work closely with the project team, contractors, and consultants to ensure the smooth flow of information across all project stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and systems on-site to ensure all documents are up-to-date and compliant.
Assist in managing project data, ensuring all records are maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement quality control measures to ensure documentation and information meet industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure information is aligned with the project’s needs and objectives.
Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide regular status updates and reports on information management, helping to keep the project on track and within schedule. Key Requirements:
Proven experience as an Information Manager in the construction industry, with significant site-based experience.
Strong knowledge of document management systems (DMS) and project management software Asite.
In-depth understanding of the processes and procedures involved in managing information on large-scale construction projects.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with various types of construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs (Requests for Information), and contracts.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and information management.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in all aspects of work. Additional Information:
The role is based on-site at an £80M recladding project in South London, so candidates must be comfortable working on-site.
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 + comprehensive benefits package, including travel allowance and additional perks.
