This is a full time fixed term contract from January 2025 until July 2025 (37 hours per week)
About the role
The ASK programme is a government funded programme aiming to support the government target of having 3 million people in apprenticeships in 2022. The programme was set up by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to help students, teachers and parents learn more about apprenticeships. Education Development Trust will be delivering the ASK programme in schools and colleges within London for the next three years. We are now looking for enthusiastic, engaging and passionate individuals to join the ASK team and help support with the ambitious targets of this contract.
As an Schools & Apprenticeship Adviser (KS3) you will be delivering the ASK programme in a number of schools and colleges across London. As part of this, you will be expected to deliver engaging presentations, workshops and activities to students, parents and teachers. You will also be building partnerships with local stakeholder in order to promote the ASK programme.
Key requirements:
Experience of planning and delivering engaging and interactive activities to both large and small groups
Be motivated and have previous experience of meeting or exceeding set targets
Be comfortable with working as part of a small team as well as working remotely for prolonged periods
Attend events as required and plan and deliver activities which involve teacher CPD and delivery to parents
Take a proactive and highly visible approach to developing working relationships with schools and other stakeholders
Manage information by maintaining paper and electronic records to the required standards
Be able to demonstrate experience of working in a target-driven environment
Have good communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to respond to demanding pressures and meet deadlines
Highly confident presenting to a large group of students/people.
