Job Title: Fire Door Supervisor
Location: Blackburn, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £40k - £55k + Benefits
Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Door Supervisor, to successfully deliver a portfolio of projects across Installations, Inspections and Repairs. You will be managing teams of site staff, providing technical support and managing workloads to ensure contracts are being serviced productively. Candidates must have a proven track record within the industry and must be able to demonstrate a high level of industry knowledge. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have a proven track record of Supervising on Fire Door installations & inspections and managing projects from start to finish
- Must have experience managing teams of site staff effectively
- Able to sign off works to Firas accreditation requirements
- Carpentry experience / knowledge, and ideally will hold relevant qualifications
- Understanding of BS 9999 guidelines
- Good written ability
- Strong organisational skills and time-keeping
- IT proficient
The Role:
- You will be successfully managing projects of varying sizes, ensuring they run to agreed deadlines and budgets
- Overseeing installations, servicing and inspections of Fire Doors and signing off once completed to industry standards
- Ensuring compliance is met within the whole workforce
- Managing teams of site staff, such as delegating works and providing any technical support
- Keeping a record of when follow-up appointments will be due, after installation
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical issues and providing updates
- Writing thorough reports, including evidence of completed works
- Coordinating deliveries and the ordering of any parts / materials
- Attending site meetings with clients to discuss contractual requirements and project progress
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
- Looking after a mix of Industrial, Commercial, Manufacturing and Public Sector client sites
- Managing health & safety compliance across all projects
