About the role:
An established healthcare provider is seeking a visionary and commercially focused Chief Executive Officer to lead services across the UK. The successful candidate will direct strategy, manage performance, and ensure compliance while fostering innovation and excellence in NHS and private care delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver strategic business plans aligned to board objectives.
* Oversee corporate functions, including operations, finance, HR, and compliance.
* Maintain partnerships with NHS, insurers, regulators, and internal teams.
* Ensure use of data systems for performance and decision-making.
* Build and support a high-performing leadership team.
* Promote accountability, improvement, and staff development.
* Represent the organisation to stakeholders with credibility.
* Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
* Monitor KPIs, risk, and financial performance, reporting to the Board.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as CEO, MD, or senior leader in a regulated healthcare setting.
* Track record in leading service delivery and managing change.
* Strategic thinker with financial, operational, and governance knowledge.
* Strong understanding of NHS commissioning and private healthcare markets.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and development skills.
* Degree in Business, Health Services Management, or similar. MSc/MBA desirable.
* Commercially astute with experience driving growth and innovation.
* Familiarity with systems like EMIS, Tradeshift, FreeAgent, Xero.
* Confident leading in complex, high-pressure environments.
