Job Title: Conveyancing Secretary Location: Harlow, Essex Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Office-Based Client Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Secretary to join a well-established law firm in Harlow. The firm is expanding their team after the recent hire of a solicitor and requires an additional secretary to support their busy conveyancing department. Key Responsibilities: Provide secretarial support to conveyancing solicitors, including managing diaries and organising meetings. Prepare and proofread legal documents, including contracts, forms, and correspondence. Maintain client files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties. Assist with the management of key dates, deadlines, and progress updates. Handle phone calls and general administrative tasks as needed. Essential Requirements: At least 1 year of experience as a Secretary in a legal environment, ideally within conveyancing. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software.
