Overview
Geostablization International is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Business IT Systems to be based in Westminster, CO, with a clear pathway to evolve into the Chief Information Officer (CIO) role over the long term. In this leadership position, you will drive the development, implementation, and optimization of our IT systems, focusing on leveraging Trimble Software’s Vista Viewpoint (ERP) alongside other applications such as Zendesk, B2W and PowerBI. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business workflows and excel at collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization to drive impactful technology initiatives.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and execute an IT systems strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and long-term vision. This may include evolving beyond Vista Viewpoint as the ERP as the company scales beyond $1B in revenue.
* Collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives support overall strategic objectives.
Application Expertise:
* Act as the subject matter expert for Vista Viewpoint ERP, ensuring its effective integration, customization, and maintenance as the primary business application.
* Oversee the implementation and optimization of related applications, including B2W for operational management and PowerBI for business intelligence, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
* Partner with the Sales organization to, within 2 years, identify and implement a new CRM to replace our current version of Zendesk which is being sunset.
* Partner with business units to optimize these platforms to support evolving operational requirements.
Business Workflow & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Understand and analyze business workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements.
* Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure IT solutions are aligned with business needs and drive operational efficiency.
Project Management:
* Lead large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
* Utilize robust project management methodologies and tools to monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate project status to senior leadership.
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain strong communication channels among stakeholders.
Oversee M&A IT Activities:
* Assess technology infrastructure as part of due diligence, assessing cybersecurity risks, and IT operations of target companies during M&A evaluations.
* Lead the migration and consolidation of IT systems, applications, and data while optimizing for efficiency and scalability.
* Mitigate security risks, enforce data protection policies, and ensure regulatory compliance during and after integration and identify cost-saving opportunities by streamlining software licensing, vendor contracts, and IT resources.
* Drive user adoption of new systems, provide training, and manage communication to minimize resistance and downtime.
IT Systems Management:
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure and scalable IT infrastructure.
* Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for system management, data integrity, and cybersecurity.
Team Leadership and Development:
* Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development.
* Ensure effective resource allocation and coordination across projects and daily operations.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
* Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high service levels.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT solutions with current and future business needs.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
* Identify and implement system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
CIO Growth Trajectory:
* Demonstrate a strategic vision and operational excellence that positions you for future executive leadership as CIO.
* Engage in professional development initiatives and leadership programs designed to prepare you for a transition to the CIO role over the long term.

Qualifications
* Significant experience managing and optimizing Vista Viewpoint or similar ERP as a primary business application.
* Familiarity with related systems such as B2W, Zendesk and PowerBI is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role (Director or equivalent), with a strong background in systems integration and technology strategy.
* Extensive experience managing complex IT projects, with a record of successful project delivery using established methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, and optimize business workflows.
* Exceptional skills in engaging with and managing relationships with key stakeholders across various business units.
* Deep understanding of business IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
* Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the aptitude to mentor future executives.
Educational Background:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
* MBA highly preferred.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, ITIL) are highly desirable.
Work Environment
* Hybrid office role; 3 days a week at our Headquarters in Westminster, CO.
* Occasional Travel
What we Offer
* The expected base pay range for this position in the Denver area is $180,000 - 200,000
* Bonus is 20% based on company and personal performance.
* You will participate in the management equity program, to be rolled out in Q22025.
